30-year Mortgage Rates Lower

National real estate mortgage rates have risen in the last several months, yet lowered since last week to 3.93%. Although rates have remained under 4% as of late, a year ago the rates were 4.10%. One of the largest reasons for growth is attributed to the surge of current homeowners seeking to upgrade and downsize to smaller homes as they begin to retire. It appears this trend of historically low rates will continue as job growth increases, further encouraging Americans to purchase homes.
